  1. most dogs dig hip holes(what i call them) for us they learn to when their on the chian when where away but even at home, it's more comfortable and gets them out of the wind and its also cooler

  3. the judge should say when to chase the rabbit and attemp to make it even leave it to the discreation of the judge if somone has a problem withthe judge they should say so before the event so pissed non of you are living in the right coutry would have loved to show you boys up
  4. f##k cant belive it id jump on the chance i guess theres only 6 poeple on this site who can catch a rabbit under light also if your dog can catch fox a rabbit souldnt be an issue rabbits are ten times easyier then foxes to catch
  5. do you have to seperate the mums and there kits while there younge my uncle has 4 jills and 1 buck in on cage will he have to seperate any of them they all seem friendly and only a year old give or take i only have males so i wonuldnt know
  6. i caught a deer bit smaller then a fallow with my roo dog a year or so ago and i hunt samber over hounds reackon youd need about 5 hounds to knock over a samber but id be happy with one good roo dog on a fallow and i mean a good one but

  8. ya i hate dogs that enjoy getting there faces biten off its piontless any way aslong as they give abit of stick but. and dont dis chihuahuas they work grate as a cross breed nice and small so they can get in any hole all so load voice very smart and have a bit of balls not like a pat or anything but still not bad they cant cop real punishment but they go ok

  10. there isnt many poeple with parson's in australia and iv only heard of a few that work but they seem to siut australian hunting which is a small cheast and long legs do any of you blokes use them for denning? and how hard are they? are they more of a bailer? cheers any info will help

  12. ya i was just thinking about the animals that kill dogs in australia we've got a few, koalas (a good mate had three terriers killed when i koala decided to drop in to there pen big claws on those b###rds), wombats, crocs, pigs, roos, havnt heard of a emu or samber kill a dog yet but im sure it's happened not to mention the endless amount of snakes we have

  17. nothing native can get dogged but fox cat hare rabbit pigs are all up for it and a some do roos and deer but its illegal
  18. nah no dogs iv seen voice they only seem to voice if they dont catch much when young, also first crosses seem to of some dogs like ibizian or airedale or foxhound or jr but once there crossed agian dont make a noise
  19. mate the smaller the collar the better the dogs head turns, they hunt even better with no collar at all and my collar wieghs 20-30 grams 200grams is to heavy and the collars are to thick the pick up wont be as swift and they wont turn there haeds as well(i love the look of the lighter version but) there not bloody pig dogs and if the dogs pulling trian it not to. dont mean to have a go at the bloke whos got them on his dog not personal but id really consider downsizing.
