Hello everyone, my dog has colitis, I've had him to the vet and she put him on a course of anti-biotics and sugested a bland diet of fish, chicken and rice. His condition got better and I've kept him on the diet, but today he passed quite a lot of blood with his stools. What advice do you have for me. I will take him back to the vet tomorrow but I'm a bit wary of another course of anti-biotics as the first had side affects. Many thanks. Rob.......worried dog owner.

I'm in the motor trade and I can tell you that I've spent many hours repairing Jap Crap chassis, Shoguns are far worse than any Landy. Rob...........hates welding.

Rabbithunter's advice is good, the cambelt must be changed. As a rule if you loosen the top part of the cambelt cover you can tell if it's been changed recently, look at the belt and get someone to turn the engine over slowly, if you can see the printing on the belt it's been changes recently. They're a damn good and cheap workhorse, about £100 should get a new cambelt fitted. If the cambelt breaks, the engine is history.

When they are crying and choking up blood, and they are scared senseless. I cant tell you engouth how much they all regret smoking when they are just days away from an exagrated, painfull and awful death. They are scared and f*cking cursing they day they started smoking. Yep, held my Fathers hand while he took his last painfull breath, fuc*ing dreadful way to die, fuc*ing dreadful way to watch your Dad die. That was ten years ago, still hurts like hell.
