    She did well asking questions and being polite to the land owner... got an invite to come and sit on one of the horses too. Not been a great weekend for me as i lost my granddad on friday morning. He always asked about me ferrets and was interested in me hobbies. I have fond memories of him passing on knowledge that i wont forget. FF

    Took my middle daughter out today as shes been banging on bout coming ferreting. She loved being out... but wasnt keen on seeing the rabbits in the nets... so had to keep the dispatch and gutting out of sight... but she did look after the rabbits and have a good look at them, out of curiousity. We had 2 in the two small warrens we did with 2 new to working jills that show good potential. FF

    Not sure where your fishing... but you said down there, so if south coast try lug worm, peeler crab and mackral all on the same hook bait banded together... I use a 2 hook rig for skate with a 4-6 inch bait but have caught other fish using this rig. TA fishing on you tube have some good videos... worth a watch FF

    Its getting like this at mine... I got 6 kids that 5 love ferreting. Nothing better then passing on knowledge and seeing them learn. FF

    I didnt think you was buddy... Just in the pic you cant see the other water bowl and i hadnt put the other bottle back on the new hutch at that time. FF

    They have 2 big bowls a water in the court and normally a bottle on the hutch. Just replaced the hutch on the end. FF

    The chicken wires been on for 3 years now, never seen them try to chew it. I was thinking of changing it last year to the half inch square mesh... but funds let me down. FF

    I have mine in a court... easy to hose down and disinfect. 10x4x6 foot partly covered one end (4foot). Hutch is accessable by pipe and other pipes to get to other areas once again easily cleaned with the hose. Every other day toilets cleaned and new shavings in. And the other days food taken out and fresh in (winter time) Evening feeds, taken out in morning. (Summer time) because of flies. One thing i would suggest when making court is... Think about ease of cleaning and feeding as you have to do it almost daily and a complete clean every week. Also a

    Ive got a new hob... The plan is to have him vesectomised to take my jills out of season. He is this years litter... Do i have to wait till he comes into season himself before he can have the snip? Can anyone give me some advice please? Cheers FF His on the left...

    I got a jrt his good at marking, dont think hes quick enough to catch. But still abit whinney on the lead when ferrets are in. Looked empty to me but got 2 out of it. Wouldnt have done it if it wasnt for the dog. FF he is my first ferreting dog so cant comment on other breeds

    Ferrets get what ever i can get me hands on... Mainly rabbit, but as its shooting season get given some pheasants so they get frozen. Would rather feed squashed road kill then biscuits. FF
