Your missing the point we're discussing blackjack's breeding. 2 different theories only different by 1 name either smithy or simon. Cant be too many blackjacks out of nigger & EYEBALL. How many EYEBALLS do you know? Bred to nigger to give blackjack?????

couldnt agree more...I reckon the book is wrong lot of miss prints & name mix ups but then again book could be right. I just want to confirm truth!

Correct me if Im wrong but I checked out both. 1.according to Lahosh: blackjack is out of nigga & eyeball. Nigga out of simon & witch. Eyeball is out of smithy & a staff. 2.according to the terriers & terriermen of ireland: blackjack (in uk) is out of nigger & eyeball. It then states nigger & eyeball are both out of smithy. ???

Lahosh states father of Black Jack is Nigga out of Simon. Book Terriers & Terriermen of Ireland says Nigger is out of Smithy...can anyone confirm Nigga/Niggers true father?

Around the same time (Im quessing) as Ken Gould had Smithy & his type, John Parkes had his successful line of terriers, the likes of Monty, Mick etc Did anyone cross these 2 lines "at that time" ie. Smithy over daughters/sisters to Mick/Monty or Mick /Monty over daughters/sisters to Smithy (not generations later) & if so how did the pups go?

Yes RH, the red dog, the one that left him and he tried very hard to get back. My friend bought him in good faith from 'someone' and when he found out went to see JP, who let him keep the dog. thought ide share a pic i have of mick Great pic thanks for sharing very intetested in the Mick/Monty side of JPs stuff, my type of terrier. Well impressed with that dog out of Mick that worked to a high std. over here in the 90s. In the finish of it he was well tested & came up trumps. Thats why I was interested in KDs dog to see if there was much of this stuff in him as he has the look. I thoug

how are the pups off the old dog going? Lost a dog of him last year to work he was7 and doing well my son has a dogf of same litter nearly 8 we dig a lot with him steady as they come my digging mate has dog there neary 10still going strong and busterbuster has 2 of him they must be 5now both do well his mate has litter brother and he is happy with it I had bitch of same litter came up small for what I wanted fella in the midlands has her now she turned out a good foxing bitch Great to hear he's throwing quality pups....the line continues!
