I used to work with an old Maltese gent from Stepney many years ago called Sammy Bonnici, he used to tell me about his career , he started boxing in London around the East End, then moved to Sydney and had quite a few fights at the old Sydney Stadium, great character was Sammy, typicalMaltese hot headed temperament, even as he got old he was still game as a pebble

Slightly off topic but I was in a house the other day that had an original (so they said) Woodstock poster, about 5 foot tall and probably 3-4 foot wide what would that be worth ? Plenty I,m thinking if it is original, he added that the frame it was in was some sort of special type to protect the poster.

That's what I,ll do over the Christmas break, I think I ll look into getting a tropical tank and will discuss it with shop owners to see which fish/ set up they think best Cheers

how many litre would 3/4 foot tanks be mate, do you know which breed of shark would be suitable to keep in that size of tank

I ve read that discus etc can be quite fragile maybe looking at getting some sort of shark if possible ?

what size of tank to start with, I was thinking a 3 or 4 foot tank and also what type of fish to keep, looking for pretty low maintenance to be honest not wanting ant breeds that are too fragile etc

Wilf. I,m open to options, I,ll meet up for a shandy with most folks, south side ? Do you mean bermondsey area ? I mind years ago being in a pub called the green man I think on the old Kent road which if I remember was,nt far from bermondsey, when a row broke out, not being funny but either there were were very few locals in at that time, or there were a load of yuppies because when it kicked of our table was one of the only ones that was more concerned about our drink being spilt than getting out of the way lol

I used to do a bit of work on the streets in Sydney with some boys from Bethnal green, we used to either work the streets or outside one of the five racetracks that race there , them doing find the queen, and good money they made when someone naive came in

I walked through to the bar yesterday about 10ish and saw a boy I,d briefly said hello to the night before, there he was with a pair of tropical flowery shorts and a vest on with a bottle of red beside him and a pint of lager, when we came back at 7:30 ish he was still sat in the same spot only surrounded by more bottles of red. I could reach into asda if I opened my window far enough, walked over there at 8o clock on Sunday morning and could,nt believe it did,nt open until 11 then shut again at 5 . Saw all the sights the wife wanted to ( as you do) and will definetly be back there soon , this time we,ll try to leave the kids with their nan and grandad
