  1. Was that not once legal no? What is an all rounder then fella, not something that did the job on everything that was once legal? I thought that was what we was on about not dogs of current day I made that clear in my original post so get ya facts right smarty pants before you start barking up trees with bee hives in buzzzzzzz iv not edited or deleted the original, your eyes well buddy?
  2. Don’t mean to blow my own trumpet but the bitch I used you’d struggle to get better breeding and I chucked a big heavy useless good for nothing bull greyhound over her
  3. Or are we going on all rounders in current day? Then I think most crosses can catch a rabbit so we might all have a collie greyhound, less risk of an injury with one of them as they haven’t got the minerals to hit a hedge let alone anything else
  4. And why’s that ?? I said an all rounder imo is a dog that can cope with any quarry that’s ‘EVER’ been legal to hunt in the uk? Pretty certain the animal your saying is the reason I’d get my door knocked off its hinges is an animal that was once legal in the uk.... as every quarry I mentioned were all once legal
  5. Agree the ground I hunt my dog pisses all over a mates 22 inch beddy cross yet in woodland or plantation that beddy cross makes my dog look daft
  6. Not disputing that but anyone that doesn’t have bull crosses seem to have some sort of vendetta against them, and all of its because the bull is associated with chavs and knobs that know nothing about dogs but if youv kept any bull breed you’d understand that under the intimidating look there’s a very clever dog with a lot of potential
  7. Here here, iv Hurd of a few good dog men this exact statement, some of the me will be known by a few of you on here I’m guessing, also was told using a greyhound bitch usually adds fire in the belly ?? Seems to have worked for me
  8. Hmmm your proberly right there might be more bad bull crosses out there because of the amount of them but there is more than likely more good bull crosses out there than any of the other crosses! Especially with the statement ‘all rounder’ for me this suggests a dog that can catch and kill any quarry that’s ever been allowed to hunt, can a good bull greyhound catch a rabbit? Day time hare? Many of the deer species? Catch and kill fox? The answer is yes, will a good saluki greyhound, or collie greyhound pull a funny thing out of a hole and belly it? I think not, for me the best all round lurche
  9. Why because he has a bull cross? I know lads with collie greyhounds that are hard but like most collie greyhounds there dogs are soft as f**k ?
  10. Sounds like your worried about his size mickeydemouse? Just saying, and I’m a short arse but from where I was stood he looked about 6ft 4 ??
  11. Obviously never met ginger beard ? I’m the first to admit size isn’t everything in a fight but I doubt you’d fancy a belt off him lol
  12. Yep iv seen lads on instagram aswell posting photos holding foxes up with 5 lurchers surrounding it, well done you give yourself a pat on the back.... blocked
  13. In all fairness it’s easy to do so when youv got tits telling you that your lieing when it would be so easy to pie them in the face with just a couple of photos but you have to dig deep lol and bite your tongue
  14. Let them think what they think fella there’s a handful of us that know the truth let’s keep it that way ?
  15. I think the majority travel far and wide to be honest they just keep it on the low
  16. Of course he can go all night his dogs have saluki blood in them ?
  17. I know someone bring one on now, a very well respected dog man too, he's ran them for over 30 years, I asked him the question about hardiness and he said an injury that will put your average lurcher out for 2 weeks will put a greyhound out for 4 weeks other than that as long as your sensible with your slips they cope fine
  18. Jheeze I need a pup off this boris the blade this guy is the bee's knee's now only can he predict the future of a whole litter his dogs are also tested to the max because he travels the country with them ?
  19. Yeah he's doing well mate showing very good signs like you say!
  20. A mate of mine did the same sort of mating, you proberly know who I'm on about black neck, RB, this was several years ago I'm sure ray still has his bitch out of the litter, a mate of mine had to have his pts at 6 years old and another bloke still has his, which is the mother to your dog blackneck, so boris do yourself a favour and stop making out your some next level dr do-little
  21. The only joke on this thread is you my old friend, the whole litter is in for a life of injuries... any chance you could tell me the next numbers for the lottery while we are at it?
  22. And did I see someone suggesting to add abit of collie into the blood? Behave yourself and go to bed, wake up tomorrow a new man
  23. Most the injuries aren't running injuries ? Only two pups out of the litter have had bad injuries that's out of a litter of 11 and as for not starting properly yet, half the litter have taken more in 3 months than most folk on here with there dogs in 3 seasons ? The more you go out and the more you slip your dogs the more chance of picking up an injury, I had a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull and to say he wasn't built for the job would be wrong,
