    Cheers mate just watched that funnily I went away last weekend and ironically the farmer that owned the place we stayed spotted the detector by the van and got talking turned out he was the head honcho of the local club he brought a large silver coin over on the Sunday that he had just found that morning and was buzzing about can’t remember what it was called but he said it was around 500 years old and one of his best finds

    Not long back from a weekend away and the grandkids are back from school little man grabs his rod and is sat outside the kitchen hatch dangling a bit of bread while I’m cooking my tea little shout and he’s away

    Going back to the start of Covid I was chatting with some tv dude from London regarding doing a program and the big name behind it was David Jason and the story went that he had said a few non woke slightly right leaning comments and was basically being frozen out of tv as has happened to others so had started his own production company up anyways Covid came and it all stopped before i got to meet him

    Bit of a wander this morning, if in doubt of were you are always head down hill anyhows after a fairly steep drop finally got to the river Severn wandered along a mile or two hoping to find a pub but heat got the better of us and we had to head back up

    Thought I better move over here having hijacked IWW leaving/moving thread bit of outdoors cooking for a few days cooked breakfast and tea nice lump of rump with onions mushroom asparagus salad and a cheese onion and tomato scone

    Am near Stourport-on-Severn went for a little wander down into a steep valley with the dog early doors just felt like somewhere I needed to have a look at anyways found a nice little lake full of fish a load of old cars then spotted the weird metal cactus thing then on closer inspection noticed it was full of cameras bit strange but obviously time to get on

    Ideal mate breakfast for two I run mine on a 4.5 kg bottle but they also take the standard canister that most camping stoves use

    Few burgers have some nice bacon eggs and field mushroom for breakfast and a couple of rump steaks for later in the day

    I have a little table top cadac and the folding mesh fire pit goes in a little bag not much bigger than a can of cider

    Little word of advice mate a lot of sites don’t like open fires and if they do they make you buy wood from them have a look at the cadac gas ones mate there the bollox I have a small folding fire pit if I’m allowed but do 90% of the cooking on the cadac even use it at home will stick Some pics up later when I fire mine up

    Watched it the other night good whisky is still a very good investment if you go to the distillery and purchase good bottles but investing your life savings and getting a certificate in barrels was just unbelievable to watch how stupid people become when greed blinkers there vision sad to see but come on it was like taking candy from a baby and most of them deserved it
