  1. Ratattack,I do have 12 but only 5 in use. This one is the one getting the points, I've set some as tunnels with no results so I'll put down a few more and see what I get. Had another this afternoon around 8 inches without the tail. Anyway thanks for the feedback guys I'll keep you posted.
  2. We keep poultry as in geese and have never had any sign off mink. Dogs are lose in the yard and never let on. This is happening like straight away, traps checked three times a day and then a corpse. All stomach and soft tissue gone, just the back bone and head. The pup run is inside a barn with a concrete floor though it has cracks and gaps round the edges. Up against the barn wall. I presumed it would just be a bigger rat! though I had not expected cannabalism unless really pushed.
  3. Hello everyone, I don't trap much however round the farm since summer we've had a lot of rats. I got hold of the VICTORY traps and set a few out. I tried various things on and peanut butter seemed too do the trick. Had eight in the last week, and the dog had a further three big ones. What has happened though is the last three trapped have been eaten in the trap. They have been a fair size 8-9inch, and the traps also in an enclosed area(old pup pen) with a run along the back wall. The trap being dragged along for 3-4ft with the rat in it , before being consummed. I take it there are bigger hu
  4. The only rifle I ever bought new was a tikka, 2 years ago that was. Pile of scrap. Never got consistancy what ever the round. Like you I blamed myself and tried diffrent rounds and cleaning, put it away, took another gun out thinking its me, I'll sort it out next time. Then had a proper look, inside the crown were two scores, it had been screw cut in the factory, I took it back and was told it was pitted inside the barrel as well, and hadn,t been looked after and the damage was caused by me and why hadn't I returned it earlier. I had phoned the shop over the period though they only advised amm

    Our Nick

I do not support them, the BNP , nor could I read the whole thread. We had it later in Wales due too schedule change. What I did find in essence was a kangaroo court. 90% of questions directed at him. He held as well as he could his own, though what I witnessed made me cringe, it was a witch hunt I now realise why he is getting the vote. Cowardice and innefectiveness, when the tables turned on other members of the panel......wobble, gobble, blah, blah. then it was back too yer man. Fair play he stuck it out 'a mans a man fer aw that'. and he very eloquently said ,I had the opportunity(freedom
  6. Hi Blue how are you doing Lass. Ain't seen you on here for ages...since the 'deliberate mistake' I think. Hows things across the water ?
  7. Had one on national radio and he cracked, started calling names and talking sh1t. No use though you can tell the nations frustrations are high when they get support like they do, they just don't carry the clout. One live debate with the likes of David Davis or some else with calibre and they'ld look like ramraiders. Rough and no finise
  8. Thanks Aaron, the sentiment is appreciated I'm sure it has given us all a "chins up" so too speak. Be happnin.
  9. That don't look too bad, I tried too make the boys one but couldn,t get 5yds out of it so good going. Maybe with some proper elastic you could improve the range. Good on you.

  11. Must at all times be under control, though people like this tube should have been in the very least courteous. A bit of weather chat before a gentle reminder of the presence of stock was enough. However maybe he has his own issues with regards dog owners. Shame though as it hardly endeers you too his cause.
  12. Xtreme 2, just changed in the last 2mnths, its a great gun. Had a 391 some years ago it was good as well though this seems a bit more business like I have too say.
  13. I wouldn't get rid of mine now, bought at auction 3yrs ago for £ (or was it cheaper ) and a cheap whitetail 6x42 on it. A CZ452 that is just fantastic. Only thing is that after my other rifles it does n't feel like it has much clout...it does though. Nice bit off kit and a good round, for very little money.

  15. Haven't had any of credible size round here in 2yrs. Scawny skinny and desperate.About the size of a small farm cat. Shot the last good oneof note, big red and healthy dog he was in nov 2007. I don't go out on them all the time, don't have the time to be honest, its just an observation. Used too come across big ones fairly regular.

Once when holding it it just went off! lucky it was pointing at the sky, made me jump though. Steer clear and save fot a Beretta or Benelli.

  19. Made me laugh, what a little ray of sunshine !! LONDON LAWYER V GLASGOW COP A London lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a Glasgow copper. He thinks that he is smarter than the cop because he is a lawyer from LONDON and is certain that he has a better education then any jock cop. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the expense of the Glasgow cop!! Glasgow cop says, " Licence and registration, please." London Lawyer says, "What for?" Glasgow cop says, "Ye didnae come to a complete stop at the stop sign."
