hi went out last night again only see three but managed to get this one it was a running shot i dont normally shoot them running but when its in your best mates pen with about three hundread poults and he is saying shoot the ba d shoot it you have to do some thing . it would not stop for anything it was on a mission and that was to get away but it did not make it as you can see i shot it in the side he was about 120 yards

the only reason i shoot them, is when i feed our ponds and drains. they eat all the wheat and that is why they are pests. i also know the french like to eat them and the dutch. i also get ask to shoot alot for our local game dealer around mid october to the end of november. as for your geese and duck disppearing, i would say they would be out on stubble fields now feeding with there young ,now the young are on the wing .

no i shoot off a bipod its the best way its rock steady no movement at all and if your shooting them at that range in the head off a bod stay that way looks to me that way suits you best

very nice, its good to see you guys across the water getting a few. i dont know about you boys but i think its been a good year for them, but its always the same you think you get on top of them. you go out see nothing for a bit then you go out another night and there they are ,little bright eyes shining away in the lamp and you think where you come from. but well done irish lurcher keep knocking em down. all the best wag

hi riggers , tried to reply to this the other day but it kept coming up error .so got in touch with admin they sorted it thanks ian . ive been fowling since i was a nipper so my advice to you my friend is before the season starts is to go down to the foreshore or marshes where your going to shoot , but PLEASE PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK THE TIDES BEFORE YOU GO THIS IS A BIG BIG MUST DO, then have a good walk round check the creeks or ditches as some people call them ,see what there like to cross or stand in to shoot out of . check the tides at different heights to see how high it comes up on the mars
