well done mate

well im the happiest man alive tonight he has done it had his first kill .i walked miles with him tonight walked 3 grass fields and nothing went all round two stubble fields and headed back home went back to the grass fields walked along the headge row with him following on then he just took off and next thing i saw was him crash into the headge and then there was screaming i thought yes so i ran as fast as i could to get there for thoes who know me have a good laff because i nearly died of a heart attack looked like but what the f**k i would have died a happy man he is now sat on his bow pe

flew him again tonight he had a couple of flights at rabbit came real close but lost it in cover real pleased with him so far

hi, all had him flying free again today dropped his weight quarter of a ounce he is now 1.6 lb he was following on in the field but still need to drop him a little more .will take some pics tomorrow regards wag

just a quick up date had him flying free yesterday he is still abit heavy so i have droped him a little more so i will see how he goes today when it stops raining !!!!

well just got home. cleaned the gun down and fed the dog had a cracking first morning on a fen drain that we shoot. we shoot it every year through the season , well got up at 4 oclock made a cuppa then the phone rang , it was chris, are you up then mate todays the day. well i finished my cuppa got the gun and cartridges and my dog murphy and off we went. when i got there chris was there all kitted up ready to go . so off we went ,it was just breaking light when we got set up . i sat down and waited for about 20 mins then the first 1 came in paddles down wings wifferlin in .chris shouted you t

dont want to sound clever mate but you would be better off trading it in against some thing .you can buy them brand new for £275 now because the C L A was cncelled there is alot of stock about and some pepole are selling there stock off cheap to get there money back . not just escorts good luck selling it

just a quick up date on his progress. well had him feeding on the fist again yesterday then put him out thismorning with a bath he is now having a play in the water and loving every second of it its quite good fun too watch him in there really .so everything is going well at the mo touch wood

no he has not been hunted before he was used for display work but he killed 4 times while he was being flown in display, so the gentleman could not use him for display anymore because of this. He was flown at 1lb 6.5oz, in display, but i think his hunting weight will be slightly lower!!! The reason for me getting him also, is that my 10 year old daughter has taken a great interest in falconry too.

well i finally fetched him today he is a 5 year old male harris . i weighed him when i got home he weighed in at 1.9 fat little get and he fed off the fist so it aint going to bad really for the first night.the misses took a few picks for you arnie take alook [att chment=20294:harris_hawk_012.jpg]
