  1. I am amazed by your comments D.C.even my much maligned Plummers have lost teeth, my oldest bitch has plenty missing, chipped or broke, its not a badge of courage but more a sign of hard work, my mate had an old bitch (Patt) that was still working with only a couple of stumps left and she still got the job done, she simply adapted her style as she got "gummier", she would present the top of her head when up close in a stop end and when the quarry bit the top she simply flicked her muzzle under and choked it to its end, clever bitch that lived for work and well known in this area, was brightmore
  2. Strong Stuff normally turns up with his collars and leads but thats about it other than the showing, a good day out in a nice place if you"re into your showing, WM
  3. I'm sorry Whitebuck but I'm betrothed to another, try not to be disappointed,WM
  4. a poor premier league manager yet again doing well with some second rate premier league players in what would be our division 2 EFL, shame he couldn't do it at Liverpool, the Champions league will give you your annual reality check come autumn,LOL's,WM fifty year ago that second rate team as you call them was the first british team to win the european cup not bad for eleven lads all from scotland and all staying withing twenty miles of the the teams ground in glasgow. I remember it,great team in a hard league but you cannot compare that great team to these, its like comparing Jurgen Klop

  6. Thats a lovely pup, just my type if I was keeping blacks, WM
  7. Everyone is allowed an "accident", the lad was only helping out rescue a dog and a text to back it up on his own land, the other lads that would be in the sh*t if it came on top with plod, etc, not him, WM

  9. F.D. stealing, copying or writing word for word has always gone on and once its up on the web anyone can screenshot your pics or words, I've seen many of my pics and subjects that I have brought up on here and other websites in the countryman's not weeks later and the "Plummer" genetics almost word for word, thats just life and quite frankly by changing a few bits of text then makes any copyright issues difficult to prove, the only time I messaged some one over it was on another site,he had my terriers as his avatar pic and he was putting my pics from off here on like they were his, I did consi
  10. With the increase of inner city slums there will be a lot more . I would say that is down to the council cutbacks in towns and cities, contracting out our refuse departments has led to major dumping in inner city areas, also charging for a rat man to come out by the council has also helped increase the rat population,WM this fella stands on the edge and catches anything that bolts whilst the terriers are busy,he catches as many as all the terriers on his own
  11. Them pups are in top condition and a credit to you mate, everything you want in a pup, anyone getting one of these will be a lucky chap, can't beat a good start in life, WM
  12. Credit to you pal, real nice, WM
  13. Looked a good day out Keith and some great pics for the album courtesy of "Bill", legendary pics of clear quality, I've just sold all my camera equipment, to fund a better upgrade and I appreciate the art of taking a good pic as its challenging in the least, staying back letting others do the work is not in my nature but its the key, look forward to both write ups and pics, nice one, WM
  14. As an FAC holder Rob ,I'm obliged to let the old bill know I'm out as am I obliged to inform them a safety issue arose .Lads with no ticket won't understand that or how fragile the whole thing is. Responsible dog lads don't wander where ever they like ,at least not here mate and I won't put up with it ,simple . If this thread makes one lad think twice about running dogs from a motor then its saved them the embarrassment of spending the night in a cell with wife at home worrying . Been a few on this giving the big one ,they'd do this you deserve that but when it comes to it, very few look fo
  15. Foxdropper, I never had you down as a grass but at least you are upfront about it, its always lads that rely on a bit of shooting or terrier work that are up to this sort of trick, I think its a frustrated wannabe keeper thing, we have one around here grassed me and a lot of others and I noticed he's amongst your friends these days and seems to like your every post, anyone can give a reg to the police, I have always gone where I liked and so my number has been always been on the "hotlist" but they have to catch you red handed to do anything, everything else is hearsay and gossip from a grass l
  16. Do you think the fox would die if the dog was put to sleep by a vet, the "finajet" most vets use is absolutely toxic to a dog and you can see that by the speed they are taken over by it, genuine question ??? I helped my mate bury a GSP that he had been walking on a lead and run over after a car hit it on a country lane, he was a wild fowler and asked me to carry him out onto the marsh with him, 3 of us carried him out half a mile or so in the pissing down rain midwinter, we dug a very deep hole and put him in, the dog weighed at least 70lb and it was a F*cker to carry on rough ground and
  17. Its like F.D say's childs play, even in the excitement of the hunt,WM
  18. This has been discussed a million times on here, if I thought his pups were of the standard his early stuff was I'd have one in a heartbeat but the sad facts are that they are puppy farmed rubbish bred to be pets, every now and then a pup with a decent genetic make up will be matched to someone like bird dog, that lucky pup will get worked and be a decent worker but the other 99 in the hundred will amount to nothing, I had 3 or 4 different crosses bred from 80's "Hancock" stuff and the work ethic was great, the best for me was a 5/8 grey/ collie cross out of "Chuckles", first night on the lamp
  19. Nice to see you posting again and some great pics, I've got a nice ratting farm I've been waiting for the stack to get to the bottom layer, holes everywhere and no lack of food, outside and behind was lifting with them, 3 of us have been going and no great numbers, but all "big fat teddybears" we have only been getting numbers in the 20's each time but this week should be fun, I've put a lot of miles in the last week, been down to my mates in Swansea and Port Talbot, Oswestry the other day and been in Lytham st annes today, just walked in now, I will call in on my way to Scotland soon, I will
