    That was my thinking too, so was I correct in thinking without 4k movie making function the actual photos would be as good taken on an old 40d for instance? What kind of MP would I be looking for zandy if I just want 6x4 size prints. Thanks for your time by the way much appreciated

    I would of thought the standard sort of one would do the job just fine mate. Greyman mentioned further up the thread about a 50mm being best for portrait they cost about 100 quid. Just looked on that second hand website that zandy put up. Cheap cameras on there, looks to me like you pay a lot more for the new ones because they have a movie function which I'm not to bothered about

    Depends if stills or action not sure if the 18-55 standard lenses have IS on them which I think you need for decent action shots mate. Getting some good advice from zandy he will know

What would be the cheapest used camera that I could put this on and have it work to full capacity ? Any ideas as to the minimum fps to look for Thanks in advance

    Thanks for that mate good little read I have done a few gardens this season all big with tennis courts and paddocks got a few rabbits from them but always seems to be the main warren is in another garden and they bunny huggers. On the plus side with a bit of luck the warrens where we have permission will repopulate.? Nice dog how's he bred

    While winter carping one night 4 of us having a social and mate said got to have a dump so he shuffled off in this really noisy thermal suit into the rhodes came back after 5 mins saying what a pipe he had laid doing up his suit flicked his hood up and this turd bounced off his shoulder and fell in the middle of my swim.?

    Fished in France at -11 ended sat in van with heater going all night, even the gas froze in my stove lol

    12 quid a month ain't going to break the bank sounds good, I was going to shell out on a new airgun but after some thought have decided to go for camera a different kind of shooting. I'm not as into my fishing as I once was so was thing of going for a 300 or 500mm lens. Nice fish your boys holding by the way mid 30?

    I do the same mate but I always have a bag of nets in motor, not totally sure my self if your concerned maybe put a couple of paper targets with it then I would imagine you got it covered. Sure someone will be along with the rule book shortly ?

    When I switched to digital I bought a canon g1 power shot with a fold out swivel screen with bipper just for fishing trophy shots lol I wish I kept the lenses from my old eos now as mate said they would work on the newer stuff, cheers for reply mate I will take a look at the 750d.?

    Not yet born I'm letting them hang for better taste ? Done half a dozen pheasant last night but got a bit cold in shed, will do them tonight.

    Well quite like the idea of a decent camera again, but I'm a little confused by the model numbers now on digital SLRs. I have owned in the past 35mm eos 100 which was great with the custom functions and even had a scanner and little book to help set it up, now back then you chose your shots very carful because of development costs. But now seems great to hold finger on shutter and fire away, so my question is what would be the equivalent model to an eos 100 or 30 in digital. Thanks

    Went through a faze of camo taping all sorts fishing tackle, but did loose a few bits simply because I couldn't see them lol So realtree handle on a 450 quid knife not for me as I would loose the fecker
