  1. Two bitches cream coloured, aged between 6 and 7 years old and the other 3 or 4 years old, with semi longish hair. No particular type given. Reported in local paper.
  2. Just a point,- The local paper did not say Lurcher type,- just mongrel. Where the Lurcher type came from ?. The local cat and dog shelter is not very far really from that area, so why not just take the dogs in. The mind boggles at these sick sods,- but don't suggest its working dog folk involved. I hope the police do find these ones.

  10. It was lost for two days it seems. It was found in a neighbours garden. Very loving pet.

  12. i hope so too, its a lovely very friendly ferret that was a cruelty case we re-homed.

  15. Used to be a good athlete, but getting on a bit now for that, but could still out-run most keepers if need be. Done a lot of fly fishing,- shooting ( airifle ) ferreting, and out with the dogs as much as i can. Used to make sticks a lot but now its just an odd one now and again. Knife making now. Helping running a ferret rescue here. Planning our Countryside marquees for next years shows. I have to often work a lot of over time, so do any hobbies when i can. Enjoy reading countrysports stuff also.

    Lurcher dog rescues

    I havent had enough experience with dog rescues & there '' policys'' but i do know about ferret rescues, and i can say off the top of my head i can think of one who WILL home to ferreters and there Mercia ferret welfare in Coventry, but what i object to is the fact some just will not home to a ferreter full stop, regardless of the fact the ferret in 99% of the time will get a perfectly good home, be worked in season & treated as a ferret not as a substitute child. I could go on forever listing my dislikes about the ferret world but its pointless , one thing i will say is theres a l

  25. I blame the over-use of antibiotics, they are less effective now against the usual bugs and viruses,- which are mutating because of the over-use. I don't take anything if i can help it.
