  8. My brother has been an alcoholic for years, and this caused his marriage to fail. He is a real good lad and would do anything to help anyone. He is still a very heavy drinker. I had a night out with him several weeks ago, and he had 3 bottles of wine and a few pints of cider before i even met up with him, then he was drinking several pints of beer. I had two pints all night. In the past he would borrow money ( owes thousands ) and steal, even from me. He now admits he is an alcoholic but says its gone too far to get over it. He has heart trouble from it also. I got him a job where i work, and
  9. I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE EXACT RULE WAS , ANY TERRIER SHOWING FACIAL SCARES ETC SHALL NOT BE DEEMED INCOMPLETE AND JUDGED AS A WHOLE TERRIER , TAKEN FROM A LAKELAND TERRIER CLUB JORNAL EARLY 1900S, DIDNT MENTION MISSING CHIN I never said chin, but i have seen a few with bits of lip missing. Which would be marked down today.
  10. Also in the early days of terrier shows,- any marked terrier,- ie lip missing etc, scars etc had to be judged "whole" , a complete terrier.
  11. Its a lot of money for a print,- and Mick never made a lot of money from his work. He was by far the best.
  12. Your hubby has a head start there Kay

  15. Countryside Marquee will be on tomorrow. Its a much better forecast. Fingers crossed.
  16. I am pulling the Countryside marquee out of the show till tomorrow. Its a much better weather forecast for tomorrow, and i think its too dangerous travelling today. Upto now the show is still on, but its very wet. We will be there tomorrow. Update if there is any other change. See you tomorrow. Anyone travelling to camp over as arranged, stay in the Countryside marquee. Banner is on marquee.
  17. I have been there today, getting things ready in the Countryside marquee, and the ground was not too bad, but i was expecting a call to say it was off,- but i have just checked again with the secretary and yes ITS STILL ON. Trade stands and everything else is there now. So i hope to see you there.
  18. Cancelled, as far as I know, for their refusal to accomodate docked terrier pups !! Cheers. Yes , definetly cancelled,- terrier and lurcher show. Just had it confirmed a second time by the show secretary.
