Great read Gav and brilliiant pic ! Just being able to get out and and see the sights like in your pic , well you just can`t beat it makes you relise how lucky you . When you sit down and take stock kind of puts things into perspective don`t it . ATB FV

It`s like most things when you start out start with some basic kit then you add this and that then next thing you know you`ve gone bloody mental and spent a fortune. Better than pissing it all away and having nothing to show for it. Guess some might go to extremes but hey if it gives them a buzz and keeps em happy FV.

credit to ya makem you really do your home work on your desired fishing location . You can`t just turn up at any old place without knowing how its fishing and very decent when they tell you whats taking and the hot spots aswell customer satisfaction you see to many places nowadays don`t look after the customer enough just think about how much they can get out of you. Makem you thought about a rating system for these fisheries that you frequent might be of a benefit to others you know kind like the quality of fish,quantity of fish,easy access,you get me drift have a think and let us know -

Aye some decent fish knocking about at the moment on the wansbeck. Did you catch that fish down by the social club andthor? Heard the back of the old slaughter house and up the prom was taking good brownies.

A letter from the heart how your grandad seen it through his own eyes something im glad i never had to endure . My grandad was at monte casino before d-day began god i take my hat off to all those men and women and the one`s we lost they shall never be forgotten in my eyes. Like andy s410 says i think alot of what they did was in vain just look at the world now its f****d up big time.

There will still be stuff out allthough in big heavy down pour`s most stuff will be taken shelter. I noticed after a bit rain or when theres a slight drizzle there is usually a good few rabbits sit out. I was at me mates permission a few weeks back and it pissed down when we were out and the amount of rabbits out was unbelievable it was like watership down. Personally though i prefer it dry but there is game out and about atb FV
