four workers in the first litter mate I'd a good consistent number of worker to throw ! How many workers where in the second litter ? I would say good blood throws good pups regardless of how forward the pups are, and they sounds like it worked both times around to me !

I've heard this a lot mostly from old timers and I've come to the conclusion that's it's an old wives tale imho . I've seen breeding done in fowl where the turnover and results can be seen a lot quicker than in terriers . And a good quality producing hen will leave good quality , not all of them will be good but the vast majority should be consistent no matter how many times they're bred . So to sum up I believe as long as the sire and dam are good quality then there shouldn't be a problem .

what I will say is on here theyre are some real good men that are willing to help youngsters or newbies . Recently I put a picture up of my nephews first day out on their own rabbiting after moving from the city to the countryside . I was lost for words at the kind comments and the offers of rabbiting equipment books and hunting DVDs all for free by men on THL that know that lads like these are the future of hunting .
