    yeah I think we might be at cross purpose about getting a pup out and about then. And I'm not saying that people haven't ever hole ended a pup but was saying its a sweeping statement to say people that tie pups up near digs are more liable to lol .Not splitting hairs for a chance to get polemic are we mate lol not like is to be polemic mate it's either that or a couple of old codgers ?

    it depends on the youngster common sense dictates that if a young pup is playing up then he's taught the error of he's ways or else not tied near a dig I agree on that . But I've got to say I've had loads that are ok calm until it's needed and then switch on types they're the ones I prefer . Now to say all it achieves socks is an loony again is a sweeping statement because it's not all it achieves .

End of the day I couldn't just keep a young dog at home keep feeding him clearing he's shit up patting in the head . To me that's boring much more fun getting them out and seeing the sights and sounds be that having a dig or whatever as long as it's out the pen I'm happy ?

    A bloke I knew came out with me onetime said the same sort of things like they get bored or make a nuisance of themselves only take them out when there of an age to be worked blah blah . We put the dogs in their boxes in the back of the van he's dog wouldn't go in the box ok no problem with that .
