    Gypsy men marrying Gorgio women isn't as much as a taboo as a Gorgio man marrying a gypsy woman I should imagine the wedding wouldn't of been enjoyable and ild be suprised it got to the wedding stage without the brothers and fathers locking the girl away for good lol I been to a wedding of a gypsy man marrying a non gypsy women and even then travellers where on there own tables it was completely separate event pretty muchThat sort of backward and insular behaviour is stereotypical of travellers. I don't know the circumstances be it pest control or they just happened onPack of hounds would of dispatched ten foxes by the time those pack of jackers finnieshed playing around with that old worm so that's what it is then the time it takes to despatch that you don't like !     Where there's been travellers settled from my great great father down to my father and me in our area " the marsh " the council put this statue up for the travellers of our area we love it . The shame of it is I've dug and ran rabbits in the fields surrounding it which they're now building houses on . The top pic of Naveks and the family in the wagon I just put up was taken in the surrounding fields which are mostly gone now

    I think the kids slept in blender tents next to the Waggons aswell...they were made from the same canvas material that the bow top is made of...young hazel shoots bent over to make a dome with the front lifted up facing the fire. as Navek says mate although I would've imagined before the wagon they had tents .

    I like collecting and looking at old photos and this one is a very thought provoking picture . Taken in Chicago 1948 the mother pregnant with child hides her head as she puts a sign up to sells her remaining children she sold them for $ 2 each !!
