    The 30/40D range have a higher iso range , processing photo's at the top range with minimal noise. Also faster shutter speeds as mentioned and I'm sure an actual physically larger cmos sensor.

    Taken from DPReview: Pre-PMA 2008: Canon has today announced a new compact digital SLR, the twelve megapixel EOS 450D (Digital Rebel XSi). On the surface a very similar camera to the EOS 400D, however there are a range of significant improvements; twelve megapixel CMOS sensor, 3.0" LCD monitor, Live View with both AF modes (contrast-detect and passive), 14-bit processing and RAW, spot metering, improved AF, 3.5 fps continuous shooting, a larger viewfinder, SD/SDHC storage and a new higher capacity battery. All in all a fairly impressive range of usage oriented improvements and refinements.

    Scotland's rural organisations have rejected calls for a ban on snaring and have vowed to work with the government to find a long-term solution.     The IS allows you to use slightly slower shutter speeds when using it, but they do have two stabilser functions one is for panning shots as shown http://web.canon.jp/imaging/lens/expression/index5.html . There not essential but nice to have, I'm sure the optics are slightly better than the standard lens you mentioned also.

    Out today, pulled up alongside a wood we had tried last time I was out, with success... the hunt have been round this area a lot with the hounds lately, which was evident... As we pulled up, we walked down the hedge, I turned back and spotted a fox walking the hedgeline, and dropping into one of the shoots woods... Anyway to cut a long story, entered willow butlers bitch, 3ft dig and a nice dog fox...nice and quick. Different to the one we saw at first......Got absolutley drenched, so headed home and called it a day... 29th so far this season for willow the comedy, hopefully plenty mo
