....I'm never quite sure how I feel about these poverty stories....yeah maybe some people are at rock bottom but I grew up on a council estate and everyone I know is doing just fine.

 

Only those who can't be arsed working don't have jobs.

 

My dad grew up in an age when women expected to loose a child due to childhood illness, they went to bed hungry and had nowt. People today don't know they are born

My dad grew up in an age when women expected to loose a child due to childhood illness, they went to bed hungry and had nowt. People today don't know they are born

lol plenty out there want to work lad but can't get jobs !! I own my own company I get 100 letters a week guys asking for jobs unfortunalty we do not require any more guys so seems like plenty want to work out there as how can someone or want to live on £75 week benfits .

True when you see 30 grand motors parked up on council estates not saying their earnings are legit though.lol

I don't have much 'disposable income', but I get by and my life is better than some others have.

 

Life isn't about having what you want, it's wanting what you've got....

 

 

 

 

 

 

.........but we were so poor that my dad had to cut holes in my pockets, so I'd have something to play with !

Most of the time the cars are leased, and every penny coming in to the house goes straight out.

That's why when they have even a month with no work, they are down the food bank.
