WhT about the dogs that wont run wearing a mu

they wont be running i'm afraid , had a lot of good valued points of dogs not wearing muzzles , that normally dont fight , but can , when gee'd up , will , so it's a certain way to stop any fighting

Quite right den. Shows like this bring people together that don't know each other let alone their dogs. Heat of the moment etc. I know one of my dogs doesn't like being overtaken and will have a go so won't run her unless they're all
Muzzled. For her own safety more than anything else.

reading threw and saw this. That isnt very fair on the well behaved dogs is it? Frankly i dis agree with letting the agresive dogs run. It wouldnt happen if the dogs were chasing quarry would it so why let them be agressive [BANNED TEXT] running a lure

I raised an eyebrow when I read that, aswell. If you know your dog has a go at other dogs.... why race it ? It would be disqualified and banned at Whippet or Greyhound racing for "turning it's head".

Cheers.

She's only young and learning.

If they're muzzled in proper racing then they should be muzzled in the racing at the shows. If you know your dogs aggressive then don't race her. I don't. Maybe I didn't write it properly on the first post.

I was referring to the actual racing. The dogs just young like I said and only ran again mates dogs who are clearly faster than her. 9 tines out of 10 she's fine.

I don't run her at the shows, only on her own but I was making the point that everybody would say 'aye, my dogs
Fine' and you have to trust it. Then 200m away they're going hell for leather and your trying to run the distance to stop them.

Better safe than sorry IMO.

i know what your saying but this is just abit of fun and some dogs running mabey will have never raced before so there owners will not no what they will be like i personally agree with the dogs wearing muzzles like i said its just abit of fun and the last thing anyone wants is there dogs going home with a face full of bite marks
