Guest jt750
Feck me Wilf ..i either need a life or a sense of humour and i think i got the latter :drag: BTW a mod has a thick skin (so i been told)..you guys say no tell us why ..personal attacks won't bother them (too much) ... they want to know how to make this a better place too
miss lurcher bitch 319
well i think the mods do a really good job on keeping the site up together and also if it werent for ianb there would be no site so all the best all you mods mlb
Guest Scuba1
How would I know, they are all on my ignore list... that's what its for or not :D ATB Michael
Leeview 792
i think they do a 1st class job the only thing (emphisis on the 'only') i would like to see is a site clear out of non posting members that do nothing only browse through peoples profiles looking through galleries and what not... i have had quite a few recently and when you click on their's, its totally blank .... if there was a time limit (say a month) when a member failed to make any worthwhile contribution then he/she should be gone... in my opinion there is no excuse for not being able to contribute something... you either hunt or you dont AND then of coarse there is always the excuse " i would like to get into dogs but dont know how" crap.... come back when you do know how is my response to that crap Agree with that wholeheartedly.....YOU EITHER HUNT OR YOU DONT....mods ban members as they see fit and they just rejoin with another username i.e MB and klingons I'd be all for new members first 10 posts being vetted by a mod before posting to control this happening Y.I.S Leeview
JPTfellterrier 65
i think they do a great job...its the members that cause the bickering
coursing_lad 45
mods are not tied down to the post , the are not commited to the post , they dont have to do the job in hand , they dont need to put up with all the hype of crap of members , they do because they want to do it , they want to give the experiances to others , im only new to the site but i feel they do a grand job , i wouldnt like to do it , but like others say , if they wasnt any mods , they wouldnt be a forum , then were will everyone be ? , CL

harrycatcat 31
The mods are just members the same as anybody else, the only difference is they've got to read though countless threads of stupid childish shite & threads that could get a person into trouble, then decide whether to remove it or not. When they do think that something needs to be removed, they've then got to spend the next few hours sorting out the countless "Where's my thread gone?/Why was so & so deleted?/It's so unfair!" threads that spring up. I think they do a great job, seeing as there's only so much time that you can spend on the net, and they've got to keep an eye on 15,000 members... I agree with this comment and also I couldnt/wouldnt do the job.
poacherkev 64
As others have said with out us there is no need for the mods ..................BUT i do think on some of the topics that start on here they get very out of hand in a very short space of time and they need to be deleated faster and people warned or got rid off .....On the whole THL is a fantastic site for hunters to log in to and talk to some fellow hunters

Ratman2 2
I voted yes, but then I would as I'm a mod on a couple of other hunting/shooting sites. Being a mod can be a lonely task, you have to negotiate with outspoken and aggressive posters too calm down, you have to warn those who fail to take advice and worst of all, ban those who refuse to tow the line. A mod also needs a nose for trouble makers and anti’s………….now that’s something I’m good at
