Best breeder of presa canario in the uk

Recommended Posts

I have been looking for years on and off, as anyone who might remember me posting when there was a bull breed section. I am sick of all the bullshit breeders trying to make a quick few quid off dogs. They have no pride, no respect, and no common sense. 'presaXpitbull will make good guard dog £200' etc

Anyway before i rant (bloody frustrating as many of you might know), i am interested in peoples opinions on who breeds as close to the true presa as possible in the UK. Someone who breeds for temperament, working ability, and physically sound dogs (and not size :( or 'show dogs'). Dogs that have been tested such as iron dog or similar. People who care about who they sell to, who want proof of a good home and show proof of their dogs pedigree, and working ability.

All this considered, is there anyone out there?

I have heard rumours theres a guy near nottingham, and possibly in lincolnshire which is near me but i don't know how to find them, but i am willing to travel anywhere for the right dog.

thats interesting, i know of topdrives very well i knew a guy who worked there but i never knew they got done.. i reckon theres another about in lincs, i will look for the site i found it on

I like the look of rogue kennels fausto and vivi, but their future breedings are with usa imported shit from crown presa. I had a look at their site (http://www.crownpresa.com/), they accept visa  Not a word about temperament, objectives, just awards for shows

Visited J7 years ago and he had some impressive gear if you're that way inclined.

Are they as big as bullmastiff, and a better guard. I saw one last sat, and if they like the one i saw , they are a breed not to feck about with.???
