Guest vin
Thanks everyone... Im so glad to hear your kind words for me and young Luke d .. she is the one that was on here with the chewing gum and long talons for feet.. she was in a worst state than the picture showed.. They had been running her in that snow and ice and she was very sore and swollen...and clapped out. if she had caught anything it would have been a miracle. She was malnurished in a big way...and teeth were slimy black..i mean slimy..stunk like rancid maggots. Vet said he would have PTS if she had come in with no owner etc etc.. fur is still growing back in all places it was missing. feet are looking good.. she,s about 21" tts. all my mates are wanting me to get her mated up when she comes in...its renewed a few old flames in the old lads.and there all fancying a bit of mooching instead of shooting and digging for a change...we,ll see how she goes 1st. jigsaw 11,900
Ive been at something similar a few months back,it cost me 100 euros to buy a staff from travellers,it was chained to a car.I gave it for free to a good home later. Its sickening to see people treating animals in such a way.Goes to show exactly what type of people are out there.Well done for rehoming the dog.Just shows its not the dog but the owner.......most times. Halfinch 51
Well done Vin and Luke Looks a cracking little dog now mate, at the end of the day, your family love her as a pet, so you'll get a great return for your cash and kindness however she turns out in the field, that might just be the icing on the cake for you. Good luck with her. Quote Link to post
Guest vin
hello all went out for a mooch last night with my mate and his old dog... didnt see many bunnies...in the end we managed 3 good runs for all our efforts..(4 hours). my mate,s old girl was fat and unfit...mine is skinny and unfit..hehee... and mines never been on the lamp by the looks of it..(no idea)..we did,nt catch anything... I HAVE SUSSED OUT THE REASON FOR THE DOGS MISFORTUNE ( i think). She,s a bloody Yapper ! like a little flapping track whippit ! she did calm down after the 3rd run and maybe its all a bit of frustration...but ive seen it [bANNED TEXT]..hehee..once a flapper etc etc. so no mooching without permision for now... any clues as to how to stop her yappin ? apart from getting her out somewhere where there,s a rabbit epidemic etc etc.. thats what i need at the moment. anyone got any clues where all the bloody rabbits are in yorkshire ? all the best everyone vin Quote Link to post
