jazz_11 5 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 thought i would share my big bear ferret polecat with you.. he is a monster really quick for a hob aswelll and he stinks its his first time coming into season he was born in june 08 lol.. lovely ferret just wants to play all the time, havnt taken him ferreting yet. but would like to see what he works like... anyone else got bear ferrets..? cheers jazz Quote Link to post

moocherboi 8 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 yer i got one did have a few. they all had great temperaments n great workers. have to lift the nets for him tho. he waits at net until lifted, otherwise he get tangled up.. jus had him vasectomised now though. he works at some pace too but not as quick as jill obviously and he just grabs rabbits n shakes n by the neck with one bite like dog. great ferret would never let him go. wilko 1 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 i once had a one turned out a monster big massive butter scotch . bought him off james mckay.. just kept tangling all me nets up skulked when ever you tried to retrive him and nearly took me hand off in the mean time hissing an pissin everywere. horrible worker. he whent on to make a lovley pet for the people i gave him to ... they love him to bits......
