whin 463
good ferrets and rabbits will bolt but well had some days when they stuck and im in the wind like an eejit with no collars before collars , now you have collars and you pick shelterd bits , to me a days ot fereting is to be enjoyed not tortue had lots of days like that with the ferrets , yousd to just rely on dog when we had winds , saw it that windy had to hold nets down with small bits of stones anything still got rabbits tho, hope he was well paying you for the rabbs Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
I dont think anyone has said that rabbits WONT bolt in the wind. They just seen more reluctant to bolt in a strong wind. Was out yesterday in winds varying from 20-30mph and we still had a few good bolters but quite a few digs Quote Link to post

Sterry 0
lets face it if i was a rabbit i'd much rather bolt into wet and cold than be stuck in a warren with a ferret. good going mate especial with just one purse net Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
Nice one good bag of rabbits. I find that they are reluctant to bolt in the wind, but somedays it dosent seem to affect it. Often when I dig to them in the wind they are just in the middle of the run rather than a stopend, showing that they are reluctant to bolt. Quote Link to post
chimp 299
sterry , dont knock the one net mate , my hearing is second to none , i can hear where the rabbit is going to bolt and just net that hole . saves a lot of agro of netting up a 100 holer. the mk3 is tuned into radio 1 as i cant afford an ipod Quote Link to post
