Squirrels and ferrets

apparently squirrels get really nasty towards the fert when cornered. I would nver put mine in.

I would think a tree rat would give most ferts a good run for their money.There tough little critters, they take a airgun pellet well,sometimes two...i personally would,nt ferret them prefer to dish out the lead earings

Andy is there many greys up there now?You used to get them in Middlesborough,but I never saw one in Sunderland,and only saw reds in weardale and durham

how can you be sure, that the hole contains a squirrel, and not some protected species?

Carn't believe you never done it or heard of it.

if the hole is low enough of course, you will either see a squirrel run in or the terrier will mark it, then just put the ferret in an it will bolt out so you can shoot it or if it goes to the ground the dog might accidently catch it
