Theres old pine needles all over the lower side where you would have been stood on had a dig been there. The spoil doesnt look fresh. No sign of where the "excavated" stone/rubble is/was. and everyones nice and clean. And, yes i have worked lots of places like that and there isnt just stone, lots of soil and debris inbetween, and if you are digging "with hands" im sure you would be blathered. Just looks like plenty of time has elapsed between the dig and the photo. If you zoom in the old needles and debris litter the floor of the dig. All these would be displaced by footfal and/or the rocks/stones pulled out. And where are the rocks and stones that has been dug? Theres a large void there so my guess is they are down the banking. If so then these too are covered with a layer of needles as can be seen on two of the pics. Just seems odd thats all..... But, like i say, good luck....... Quote Link to post
