A couple of hours ratting this morning

Had an invite this morning to have a look round a farm a friend has recently gained permission on - a good opportunity for a scrat about and to show the pups whats what. We arrived early & had a good look round, caught a few rats, some large, some small and arranged with the farmer to go back one night with a lamp to see what was about later on. The farm has recently changed hands, and its not hard to see why there are rats about.

 

A few pics (I took too many just to make a change ). We didnt get huge numbers, it was the kind of place to mooch about on and catch whats around, but very enjoyable and made a nice change to the type of ratting we have been doing recently.

Hope you enjoy the pics - not a lot of action shots, most of the places where the dogs caught were very dark - very hard to see in some of the sheds (should have took a torch).

No huge numbers today but it was a lovely morning out, not far at all to travel, which made a lovely change and even better we got home in time for a sunday roast - can't get any better than that
