Lovely picture!

Our local WWT, which is a favourite place for my daughter to visit has introduced Water Voles to their site. They've bred very well apparently and being a WWT site is quite well protected from predators. I have one or two pictures but non nearly as good as that!

Top class Byron...i was looking to photograph some this summer...can you give me any clue as to the location?....or is it top secret?

its a secret jd so if i tell ya i,ll have to kill ya :clapper: been looking about for weeks now, no luck till last night, so went back this morn and seen six [photo taken in poor light] the area i took this is an old place were it allways held them. big housing estate built around it now but these are just on outskirts on a country park, maybe with lots of dog walkers etc has just given them a foothold from mink and herons that take them freqently. to think in the sixties me and me mates used to hunt them with small javelins nicked from school far fetched but true. bolting them from holes by jumping up and down on the shallow banks, never used to get many though. ahh great days cheers byron
