Date night

Mrs Stav has decided we need to do more things together, a date night, about once a week, so I’m thinking a nice meal out or the pictures, something along them lines, but no, adults only petting zoo evening, luckily there was a bar, can’t wait to see what she has planned next, dose anyone else do “ date night “ or are you all past it

Date night wtf is that about stav yes we do things together it's normally her walking round pointing out the jobs she wants doing like yesterday and reminding me when I didn't do them straight away in the past

That’s a cracking idea, I loved going to Sunderland dogs and I think Mrs Stav would like it as well

I seriously  f***ing love a date night out , the scant opportunity for adventures , maybe the night of your lives , it may be the  greatest night out ever 

however date nights usually follow a distinct pattern I like to break into three phases . 

the preparation 

the expectation 

the acceptance 

previous date nights have included the following locations : AC/DC tribute act in Andover , karaoke in tidworth, Cher tribute act in Northallerton , Bon jovi tribute act in Carlisle , an evening with Katie price and Kerry katona in Billingham , karaoke In Stockton upon tees. 

One overwhelming characteristic is that I will be ready , in mins , on Time , the other half will not be . It will be the culmination of a full day at least including sunbeds , nails , at least two outfits at minimum and two / three hours of getting ready alone upstairs in peace . 

at the end of which , there Will be a reveal , it will be either 

a ) a dress 

b) a top and leather trousers 

I will be making at least my second cup of tea as the reveal is made . I will be termed “ a whinge” for not immediately saying it’s the greatest outfit I’ve ever seen or making some remark about how we are going to Darlington not the met gala. We will then say goodbye to the babysitter who has been there for at least an hour.

at the end of whatever fantastic trip we make , we will emerge home to find both kids at least half awake with the shattering realisation that we’ve done three hundred quid in and have f**k all to show for it bar a hangover tomorrow and an argument brewing about something I’ve said / done from either the night or in revelatory reveals . 

the best bit is , in 6 weeks time , it will ball be repeated again .

She asked if I wanted to go and see Blue at Newcastle tomorrow night, No Ta, take your mate and I’ll have date night with my fighter pilot mate, airforce Ed, and we’ll spend it on the moor looking for deer to shoot
