Possibly the worst England performance I’ve seen.

Not a single shot on target in the first half.

Foden as a “false number 9”, whatever that may be ? Had the least touches of any England player.

The only actual attacking intent coming from Mguire and Burn, two aging centre backs, when they came on for the last few minutes.

International friendlies should be stopped in my opinion. Often the most pedestrian and turgid of spectacles. Clubs don’t want them, the players don’t need them, the supporters get robbed by them. The FA’s bank accounts are probably the only winners. I get the national coaches want time to work with their squads to assess personnel and tactics, but didn’t Tuchel take about 35 players to train? That’s three and a bit teams! And the appear to have very little influence on how a team will set out or perform at a major tournament.

Pure waste of time if a competitive spectacle is what you are looking for, it’s a pure training and information gathering exercise ….nothing more.

I watched one minute forty five seconds of it and new the outcome so switched over im not a football fan of any sort just a patriot that watch’s his country’s teams play

anyway theyd rather make gaylord heart signs or wear rainbow armbands or jump on the next political cause than play football ffs, theres more effort in a darts match

That Maguire chap, I could perform better on jukels Zimmer we a frying pan in each hand, And don't get me started on darts, fekin like littler, eh, a millionaire fer chucking a dart, here's me, worked all my life, don't rely on drugs always helping people, civil well mannered ending up on a meagre pension , I can't even afford fish n bloody chips, oh, I tell a lie, ive bin chucked out off a chippy couldn't use my card or summat , i had to use cash ,i even recycle my t bags ,
