The Jews were there 2000 years before Christianity and 2700 years before Islam. 

I'd say a Jew is a religion and a race and a culture. Many 'modern' Jews have moved there from elsewhere and back to the promised land as they see it....that is their land as given by God..... again as they see it. 

I once had this discussion with an extreme far left Muslim, a member and active protester with hope not hate. He was absolutely convinced most Israelis weren't actually Israeli as they had only been there since the second world war. He had already said his family had come to Britain when he was 5.....I suggested he wasn't British then by his own reckoning......the fcker reported me to a court official as we were both working in a court office at the time. Luckily I had a witness who backed me up but I still got a final warning

They’ve lived in Ethiopia for perhaps 2,000’years, reputedly descendants of Dan and the lost tribe of Isreal, from the kingdom of Solomon . 
They’ve all  in all moved back to their “homeland” Isreal .

How far back in history do you have to go ?

Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt back to their “homeland” in Canaan.

If the “Middle East” problem was easily solved it would have been done a long time ago

As interesting as all this history is, are we not disappearing up our own arse a bit ?…..surely it’s as simple as “they are there, they ain’t leaving, if you attack them they will come back at you like you don’t believe, stop attacking them and find another way” ?

Or is that way too simple ?

I read some things on here that are proposed as fact and they are anything but, so I can’t help myself and have to give an opinion.

Go to the Levant, the Fertile Crescent, northern Syria, Iran, etc and you’ll find Jews and Arabs as white as me, Arabs with blue or green eyes , blond or ginger hair whose families have been there for millennia.

When I have “discussions “ with family and friends who wholeheartedly support Gaza and hate Isreal, I have a simple test, I ask them to point at Gaza, the West Bank, the Golan Heights on a map. I’d say at least 95% couldn’t.

Ask them when they chant “From the river to the sea”, what river and what sea they are chanting about, and the result is the same!

Its a forum mate, forums are for discussions, and if I can educate mC hull I’ll die a happy man
