Muntjac calling

Was out last evening for my last dog toilet walk and there was a muntjac  barking away in the woods just across the water from me, so I attempt to return fire and eventually come up with an half decent bark back and low and behold I’ve called this one right out to the waters edge across from me, was quite impressed anyone else seen or heard of calling in muntjac, I’m going to have another go later if it’s not pissing down

Did turn a corner at the shotgun club and there was one not 8 feet from me .stupid little thing just stood and stared at me.eventually I just moved and he legged it barking as he did so

Had one run out at us on a shoot once, me and my pal was saying to bloke in the next peg “Go on John, shoot….shoot it John…” and he was like “No, I can’t” and we was “You can John, go on you can do it” so he shot it and all the other members shit them selves and me and my pal were “Oh John, what the f**k did you do that for ?……can’t believe you John…..” 

Me and my mate was f***ing crying and these dudes shitting a brick aeound us ! lol

I always thought that the alarm noise they make when caught by a dog is one the most blood curdling sounds there is.

A Buttallo (? spelling) roe deer call works a treat and even if you imitate one they will come in to it, always found it better than barking back at them as it goes..

Classed a a pest and you can shoot them legally with a shot gun , just saying..

I didn’t know that mate and I don’t think any of them did either . lol 

There was phrases like “you’ll do time John!” and “it’s a 10 grand fine John” and “They will close the shoot down for this John”………mate, honestly it was f***ing hilarious !

Poor old John looked a broken man at the end of the day ! lol 

Gunmen tend to get a bit jumpy as opposed to lads who spend their weekends leathering pigs ! lol

Only under specific circumstances like extreme crop damage or humane dispatch.....you can't just go out and roll a munty over with a shotgun if it doesn't fall under those circumstances even though there non native and might be classed as a pest I believe there still covered in the deer act
