I think common sense may come with age and experience, but then again, I know some oldies that have never had any common, or otherwise, sense

I'm not being funny,but 99% of today's beat police, couldn't stop a fart in a phone box..myself personally I wouldn't stop or pay attention unless they was armed and f***ing t packed me in the motor or taking my front door off the hinges..bunch of.f***ing  quims tbf...at least  years ago ,most had abit of something about them,ex army etc,weren't shy to give you a dig,it was expected,when you play the game....

Back in the day there was Police who took it personal they genuinely bore a grudge against you. When you were on there turf they let you know and weren’t shy dishing out a few slaps and likewise when they knew you had them bet they’d tip their cap in there own way and knew they’d see you the next time. But now they are laughable if you at a level where your dealing with day to day beat police they’ll probably pursue you over 1 out of 10 crimes especially things like theft or small time dealing. Look at how the Albanians have thrived in London and probably other cities by now. I’d imagine there are still some good detectives who are sick and tired of the game having to work alongside a pack of wasters and believe it or not they’ll be respected in their own way

The Lawrence enquiry and Labours push to be down with the brothers changed the British police force entirely, like that’s not even an opinion it’s a stone cold fact.

At that moment they became an overtly political police force whilst at the same time being emasculated from dealing with real day to day scum.

Like every other government body, they are now an army of small minded petty burocrats picking on easy targets to extort money and keep the people in line.
