Was that called Fearless mate?

I watched it a while back, brilliant little series... shows the Brazilian rodeo on it, biggest in the world 90 odd thousand people turn up for it!

We've done some miles since we left Fort Worth on Sunday morning..

Stayed in the Wichita mountains, small place called Medicine Park, full of old history.. had a few beers in the local bar with a proper character, no teeth and wearing a raccoon hat, told me that the previous landlord shot a man dead in the bar as he came in waving a gun about, looked at my feet and said "he dropped dead right where your standing" lol... he was born and raised in a small town 15 miles up the road, proper wild west country..  was a complete wreck head, but great company for a couple of hours..

Moved on yesterday early, and went through the wichita mountains reserve, wild bison back roaming after they were wiped out completely and then reintroduced in 1909.. stunning drive..

Onto route 66 at Amirrilo, Texas and we done a long drive down to Albuquerque where we stayed last night, drove through our 3rd time zone of the trip..which is always weird lol

Heading towards Monument Valley tomorrow..

@mC HULLthis is what you call big land! Lol

WOW! Kin hell amazing trip your having !

Got to say its beem amazing mate, we've not planned anything really, wake up and head in a general direction and see where we land..was meant to be in Amirrilo last night, but got there and decided against it, we'd had a couple of warnings, and it looked....we'll not appealing lol... got back in the truck abd done another decent drive to Albuquerque, ended up staying here again tonight as we loved to old town today, much more native American and Mexican like...we booked a small bnb this morning, lovely little place all done out with Native American themes.

We done a long drive yesterday, it was great though...bit if a chill today, then heading north west to Monument Valley, the scene where Forest gump stops running on that road made it quite famous, but its a huge state park with aome amaxing scenery, makes for a short run into Grand Canyon abd we may do a night in Las Vegas, not sure that's really my thing, but we're passing by after all lol...

We're already planning the next trip, do different states, but in the same way... as I've said lots on thos thread, the people are making it everywhere we go.. . Being British here goes a long way, but as always, if you treat abd talk to people properly it's amazing what you get back....

Chilling ion my own n a surprise hot tub in the grounds of this bnb, just over £100 for the night including breakfast and the place is stunning lol

Vegas is well worth a night,I can recommend a couple a night in the Venetian or the Wynn, visit the mob museum and get free craps lessons in the Belaggio, and you can see the car Bonnie and Clyde died in complete with all the bullet holes.Death Valley is about two and a half hours away then down to LA (Hollywood and Beverley hills)en route to San Diego…

Yeah, that's kind of the outline plan, looking to get to Santa Criz and spend 5 days driving highway 1 down the Pacific coast... got to see Big Sur, so will need a few stops ..never know I might be able to cast a line in the Pacific and the Atlantoc on the same holiday...catching a fish in the Pacific would be the icing on the cake lol

If you do go to Vegas there’s a bass pro that is incredible, huge sea fishing section (bit odd as it’s in the desert),I won enough in a Casino one morning to cover the entire trip and have a decent spend up.

you can certainly do a bit of fishing and catch fish at Huntington beach and long beach piers,I saw guys fishing for halibut and everyone was catching mackerel, tight lines and enjoy the rest of your trip 🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸
