It's nice to see nice ways of meeting eachother long life partners we are still looking for a lady for our youngest brother he still needs TLC and plenty of curries and now bloody triffles the bimbo next door is hardly seen these days I think she's got a fellow now the woman for our youngest must be patient and a good cast iron stomach strict would be preferred a mistress would be a catch

I met my late wife as we were walking down the street (she was 15 and i was 17), we just started talking , and we were inseparable until we lost her .

I met my second wife at work.  She was running a nightclub , and I was working the door . Within ten minutes of meeting her , she gave me a huge plate of food , and that was me caught .

was walking upstairs in walkabout, passed an absolute sort of size 10 Brunette who was the mix of Cher, kim kardashian and 90s backing dancer I’d been saving myself for .

saw that she was on a double date with her cousin and two non starters naturally did the gentlemanly thing by gatecrashing it and refusing to leave until she had given me her number. 

took her out Wednesday , moved in at weekend and never looked back . 

nothing else seemed as important anymore. 

I thought she was assigned as your care giver and felt sorry for you ! X

Turned up to do wasps' nest in a garden about half a mile from home. It was the end of a very long  ,  hot working day; l was stinky, scruffy and covered in dirt from customer's lofts . The door opened and l thought "Wow".  

A couple of days later l was asked back to check the nest on the pretext that one of her boys was supposedly still nervous about going in the garden.

We still joke about her clearly  having poor eyesight and no sense of smell

In 1975 I was letting out motor boats and rowing boat to the grockles (holiday makers) on the harbour at Paignton. This lovely girl came along in the late afternoon selling the local paper. She asked me if I would like to buy a paper I replied no thank you but I would like a date for Friday night. She replied no chance all my work mates and some boat boys  all laughed and took the piss out of me. So I bet them all a fiver I would get that date. I went up to the red box where all the papers were stored and she would stand and gave it some charm. I got the date for Friday night, she was 16 I was 22. We are still together after 50 years.

She was none to happy mind when she found out it was a bet. I never collected on the bet I let them all off.
