A tale I’ve told on here before….. 

First time I applied for an Australian visa it kept being refused.

My son was at the time the Entry Clearance Officer at a British Embassy and I got him to call his opposite number in an Australian Embassy to try and sort it out.

The Aussie called me and asked if I had a middle name, I haven’t, so he asked me to fax him a copy of my passport with the photo.

he called me back and said the visa was being issued immediately.

I asked what was the problem, he told me someone with the same name and date of birth was applying for a visa but was flagged as being on the terrorist watch list, the only difference was he had a middle name ……Winston and was Jamaican !

Yes traffic cops on the M5 north of kidderminster.no I do not have ginger hair.showed my paper driving license and they said I should update it ,i said as it is still legal I will not be doing so.then said it was a little fragile so I said it has lasted this long .just checking me out for some reason coming up with some bullshit excuses.

Mate,where you been? they did away with paper driving licences ,at least 10 yrs back...my Mrs was stopped and bollocked... because she only had her paper original ( was in 20 separate little bits from being folded lol-she had  laminated it FFS)

I still only have my original paper licence from the 80s including endorsements and disqualifications lol when ever I get stopped and asked for my licence I tell them it’s all on the screen in there car same as everything else about me they were reading prior to putting the lights on seems to satisfy
