I believe several European countries do this don't quote me but Norway , Iceland etc. power for the people plus jobs and energy security, it's only big business that doesn't want it . BP made ten billion in profits while we were struggling to pay bills no? Edited 11 hours ago by Borr

BP made ten billion in profits while we were struggling to pay bills no? Thatcher sold off our energy supplies in 1981. The figure was somewhere between 2.9 and 3.6 billion. Norway invested their oil windfall in a special fund which has funded and will continue to fund their public spending for many decades to come. If we were to re_ nationalise, the oil companies would demand such a high figure as to make the sale unfeasible. Poor us, water full of shit, electricity prices the highest in the world and our roads and infrastructure crumbling more each day. I think multiple governments have shat on us from a very, very great height. A bit like this. Donald Trump mocks 'No Kings' protests with AI video of himself dropping brown sludge on protesters from jet NEWS.SKY.COM Thousands of demonstrations have been held across the US to protest at what organisers call... Somebody needs to tell the Don that the mask goes over his nose. Edited 4 hours ago by jukel123
