Bang on wilf, when we had the best trades and workers in general it was because people actually went in to do their best in the job they where on, learned something new weekly and had pride in themselves, nowadays the benefit street types is what shines through

There’s this delusion that employers want to exploit everyone and I’m sure, in some cases with bigger employers, that is true….but it ain’t true for your SME, for them it’s personal and so are their people.

In fact it was Mill owners and such like that first built housing for their workers and schools and all manner of other stuff….like the argument that the employer is always the bad guy is total childish nonsense

SME’s can’t afford not to be able to get rid of wankers and they can’t afford not to try and retain really good people.

If you find yourself working for some massive corporation in a job where your skill set is that of a monkey and you can easily be replaced then chances are, that’s your level…..if you want to be more than that, operate at a better level.

Easy aint it !

Same as housing and rent, we live in a society that has purposely engineered itself into the clutches of banks selling mortgage debt….the bigger the debt, the more they earn !

Like, if we didn’t allow banks and governments to engineer massive house price increases whilst simultaneously putting massive regulation and tax rises on landlords then there wouldn’t be an incentive for landlords to sell and rent would be cheaper and tenancy longer term and more assured.
And again, it’s come back to flexibility, like firms landlords want to retain good people but they need to be able to sling out screamers !

Finally that f***ing scam “minimum wage”……like who the f**k don’t see through that ?

Well I can tell one for sure, my mother in law !…..was chatting about it the weekend with her as it happens and she genuinely thought employers paid it ! lol

She just didn’t understand that minimum wage actually means minimum tax !…..as in, an assured baseline of tax revenue on all employment paid for totally by the consumer….me and you in other words !

What f***ing gonks are believing this shit ? lol ……

Well if  you believe  in their right wing philosophy and have, let's say, a bit of a thing about immigration, why not vote Reform?

Would you be happy if one of your kids were evicted for no reason, could only get a zero hours contract and there was no provision of a minimum wage in the let's say 20 hours of work they were offered?

You are clapping your hands at a scenario which will drive this country yet further into a third world 'beck and call' economy.

Why do the like of France and Germany have far stronger employment law, free nursery provision , free university tuition , free school meals for All children, proper  tenant protection plus a minimum wage, and still do far better than we do financially and as economies in general? And by the way proper sick pay and unemployment pay which is about 90% of full pay.

Answer. They are not tied down to this right wing, f**k the people who do the real work, forelock touching, cap doffing, royal adoring, backwood mindset that we brits have been forced to adopt.

Because Reform has become little different to the gonks we have had all along.

Right, it’s like this, with a proper immigration policy that sees 20 million people who ain’t meant to be here gradually f**k off along with positioning ourselves as a proper free market country that provides products of real quality and attracts investment is low tax regimes then there would be plenty of jobs and plenty of money so the problem would solve itself…..we used to be a busy little nation and there’s no reason why that can’t be the case again.

Thats not what we do at the moment, what we do is regulate and tax everything to death.

Were we a 3rd world beck and call country in 1930 ?, 1940?, 1950 ?, 1960 ?……it’s a simple question.

France and Germany are skint….just like we are skint…..period !
They, like us, are in the verge of bankruptcy…..you’re not seriously holding that up as a model of good management are you ?

Edited to add:

I bet you’re the type that thinks the big bad employer pays for minimum wage ? lol lol

Flooding the county with cheap labour was a right wing strategy favoured by the movers and shakers of the economy over several decades.

Having a hire and fire economy...people fighting  for jobs and housing, was and is a healthy economy if you are a major employer.

Other countries placed far more emphasis on improved technology and pursued the well paid skilled worker route.

People prior to 1960 were living hand to mouth. In both major wars, the armed services had problems recruiting personnel from the working class who did not suffer from poor nutrition and/ or poor physical development.

The 1960s saw major improvements in people's lives. In housing, health, education and employment.

These improvements have been chipped back year on year by successive governments.

An unskilled  man could feed a family on his wage in the 50s. My old man brought up 9 kids on one wage.

People in France and Germany are on about 7 grand more than we are and they have far superior public services and employment protection.

You realise you can’t just make stuff up right ?

The truth is, it was Labour and Tory governments that flooded the country with spades !…..sorry to piss on your chips, but it’s a fact.

Again, the fact is if you are a major employer it probably isn’t that big a deal to you…..it’s when you are a small firm that it’s world changing !
And who drives the economy in local areas and nationally ?…..small people !

Yes, it did…..it also saw the roll out of the comprehensive education system which, rather than rewarding talent, just made sure everyone was as thick as each other !

Agreed, and the space to get round it has been destroyed as well.

Yes, he could, before we deindustrialised and then regulated and taxed everything out of existence whilst at the same time engineering a system where banks act as council estate money lenders.

The equitable sharing of misery I think you call that…..

I’ll say it again, they are both skint….that music is going to stop soon…..maybe that’s why they are provoking a war huh ?, always a nice way to clear the books !

Talking of Far Right…..I know of a country’s leader that:

Solved mass unemployment through massive state funded infrastructure projects

Inserted the state in big private industry so it could control big private industry

Borrowed gargantuan amounts of money in order to do it all

Created state schools, hospitals, leisure facilities, groups for workers

Had a highly skilled workforce

Had a state run Labour union that set wage rates etc

Even created an affordable car so that everyone could travel no matter what their position in society…..

I wonder if Jukel has a picture of Adolf on his wall ?…..he seems to promote quiet a lot of that thinking ?……hold it !……please tell me Jukel isn’t Far Right ? lol
