mushroom 14,203 Posted Saturday at 12:54 Report Share Posted Saturday at 12:54 (edited) Bought some earphones yesterday for the Mrs (JBL) she opened the box this morning and there's only one fuuckin earbud lol. Went back to the store (like Currys here) and the slapper accused me Infront of a shit load of people of trying to scam! I paid for the bloody thing with my business card, not cash. All I wanted was a box with two earphones Now I've to wait on their complaint process just to get a replacement. bloody quids down the drain. Rant over gan for a smoke and a beer Edited Saturday at 12:55 by mushroom

Qbgrey 4,379 Posted Saturday at 19:51 Report Share Posted Saturday at 19:51 Had a similar experience, went to a expensive shoe shop , bought a nice pair of shoes, got home and noticed a very slight wear in the heal, like someone had worn them for a night out then refunded them. Went back and fuk me she was saying you may have bought them for a wedding or something and then asked for a refund ffs.

True story, few years ago i went to a funeral,I bought a really good pair of shoes especially for the occasion with the intention of returning them after the cremation, put tape over the soles so as not to mark them when walking in the cemetery grounds, peeled the tape off afterwards, gave the shoes a wipe over, voila, refunded cash.

Oh well done! I suppose you imagine you scored one over the exclusive shoe shop!! Well what about the unsuspecting high end tart who bought those faux leopard skin stilettos after you'd infected them with millions of mackem verruca spores? Poor sad bitch. She will no longer be able to walk the streets of Mayfair. Instead she will be unable to work, have to claim disability and smoke crack all day. What an existence, and all your fault. I thought you were better than that. Twat! 2

Why wear shoes that you cannot afford to own, just to give a false impression to others?

It wasn’t for anyone else except me,they matched the suit I had (I owned the suit) but I rarely wear suits and would probably never have worn the shoes again.

I don’t think anyone ever chose footwear for a funeral “to make an impression”.

The first funeral that I went to as an "adult", I borrowed a really nice suite. 1 size too big. No one really noticed. The few that did notice are still around today and still take the piss at funerals. I would have probably grown into it by now. Wore my own shoes though.
