If she was a deer grey instead of a purebred i’d 100% of went 3/8 5/8 if i had a good one to use. Then not too much deerhound that way Quote Link to post

But a guy i know who’s had dogs for years which used to be mostly deer greys said to me that if am doing bull X over my bitch i’d be best starting off with a deer grey cross keeping a bitch back proving her then doing a Bull x down the line. As it’s a much better base for a lurcher line and will help down the line. As i said im a bit more new to it and never had a litter before Quote Link to post

Would certainly be less stressful and a lot quicker. Edited 10 hours ago by shaaark 1 Quote Link to post

Then i’d line her no probs but hard enough trying to find one. Mostly track dogs, which isn’t a bad thing but a working one would be ideal. Will just look like a deer x grey but slightly smaller i’d of thought Quote Link to post
