Been thinking about him quite a lot today, poor guy. He had no ego, didn't bad mouth anyone, never put down upcoming young fighters, always took the time out to talk, a genuinely nice lad, when we met him in Blackpool he was a quiet kid and was really just one of the lads, such a shame he has to feel that low about himself to end his own life, just sad, brings back memories of happy days.

He may have died from an accidental overdose. But I take your point. There's some truth in the saying that oxygen thieves live long lives whereas a lot of lovely people bow out early

We will see mate but he had a lot of demons and battles with addiction, he reminds me of a good mate who took his own life a few years back, bringing back memories.

RIP Ricky, we've lost a good one, he was a keen angler, and a supporter of the Tackling Minds mental health charity.
