So I’m going to say to you, who exactly in modern politics has the experience you talk about ?

Is it the people that got us to the position to have debt at 100.3 % of GDP ?

Is it the people that voted for, condoned, worked for, enabled, promoted or was an MP for the same folks that got us into this state ? 
 

Is it the people that have allowed banks and credit peddler's to ruin everyone by deliberately making policy that forces people into the hands of banks, debt and credit peddler's ?

Not really, I like some of their policies, such as raising the limit to pay income tax from £12,000 to £20,000 because it hasn’t been raised in line with inflation and “fiscal drag” is meaning more and more of the less well off are being dragged into paying more tax.

People say “how would it be paid for ?”, well, a complete moratorium on overseas aid would be a start.

I like their views on “Net Zero”, they align perfectly with my view.

I like their policy on net zero immigration .

As I said in an earlier post, I don’t expect Reform to be a national panacea, but they could hardly be worse than the legacy parties and hopefully will be better, so I’m willing to give them a try. What’s to lose ? We can’t carry on with the status quo !

The way I understand the way “net zero immigration policy” would work is that for every immigrant wanting to come in , would only be allowed if one had left.

Id gladly swap an illegal Ethiopian or Somali for an Australian mining Engineer or a Japanese nuclear scientist, if that’s what we needed.

Im sure Reform arent suggesting one illegal for another !

Contrary to what we would like, we will always need some, strictly controlled immigration.

If we need a brain surgeon or a cancer specialist, or a nuclear engineer surely it’s best to import one until we get our act together and train our own ?
