Been a few years since I knitted any...I bought 200 yard of 10z sheet netting...and just use that ...braid rings on and draw cord

You can buy sheets off temu Tomo cheap. Just had a look now.

we must be old fashioned mate, I think 10z nylon is far in front of this new fangled poly stuff.

I used a company down South called Bridport Marina. All the nylon was white, 10z, and I made 100’s of nets. They also supplied me with white nylon trawl rings. Long while ago TBF. Jok.

I couldn't get on with it, I think good nylon beats it in every way, not just pursenets, for longnets nothing beats 4z nylon for tangling rabbits, I mean proper longnets for night netting.

i use nylon long nets,but i wouldn't go back to nylon purse nets, especially not the crap they sold in the gun shops , I've used 10oz and they wasn't bad but they just not as good as the spun poly ones ,we all like different things ,long as it works for you that's what matters.

totally agree with you, quality is a big factor as well wether it's nylon or poly, I got something called crossbraid nylon off netrigger on here and I think they are better than anything.
