We went heavy for yrs, but too heavy, so knocked it all on the head for a decade. But few yrs ago started going to a rave again just 3/4 times a yr and I tell ya it's better now. Don't get as wild or do near as much and it's better. The vibe at a rave or festival when it's all 30s/40s/50s is amazing, we stay away from the gigs full of teenagers and 20 yr olds.

I picked me lad up from a few now an the most recent was down that way an it was full a kids tbh but fcuk me the ammount a folk my age coming out, proper made me think haha iv not had a night out in 20 year or so mate haha not a drinker an pubs are the worst place on earth for me, so once settled an stopped drugs an the clubs I lamped instead haha haha could be tempted to dig out me dancing shoes tho haha or wonder if I could wear me wellies haha

Was at Trance in the Woods in Derbyshire this summer.... savage gig, most of the crowd especially at the stages we were at were all cool. No tiny boppers recording everyone and being jerks, just ravers in their 30/40/50/60s having the best time.

I remember Rolex’s and Mercedes, I’ve just been out with a mate and was on about it to him and reeled off a load, VW’s, playboy’s superman’s etc lm surprised he remembered because he was permanently off his chops

Me too.... She was a right slag that Mercedes. She gave me a pokey bum wank before I knew what it was

I'm not a fan of busy places if I'm sober or off my chops so my best times were out on the moss with some good mates (still are) a fire and a stereo, pockets full of batteries and cigs and that's all you needed. Walking home at dawn sledging with decent tunes on.

Most of our best nights were in someones kitchen or bedroom or shed, not at clubs. But festivals are/were peak raving.
