Trying this bad boy at work on Saturday night, over 500m and that's on flood beam, lasts 3 hours on max power and 50 odd hours on eco mode. The model below has spot light function and throws around 1100m.

Not gonna catch much with a 4 month old pup on't beam.

I'll have a walk out though and see how good a high powered LED torch is.

I'll have a walk out when it's dark and give it a shine and I'll let you know. This is a flood beam though so probs not ideal, the model below has flood and spotlight I believe, in spotlight it throws 1100m.
