Dogs DON'T need carbs as an energy source, but fat and protein.

How many pure salukis have you had ? I agree fat is a great source of energy for running dogs and they obviously need protein and there is plenty of carbs in the kibble but for some reason if you feed pures a very high protein diet they won’t hold weight

The pure I use to have, couldn’t get any weight on it, it was the fussiest eater I’ve ever had would turn its nose up at medium rare roast lamb lol

I asked a vet pal of mine in Saudi if this saluki was too thin….he said “have you ever seen a fat saluki ?”

Very straight in the back legs it must of been like a rocket according to Mcs theory, was it ?

 white death only had one litter he's already bred one better than out buddy threw lol 

Hare wise I think this red dog be right up there mate can't wait this  season 

The pure looks on bone lol but spine at the withers ain't showing but that carb diet it's coat ain't pinging lol

I don’t like straight hocks mate, I like a “well sprung hock”. 
Whippets need a well sprung hock for acceleration, Salukis not so much, for dessert running.
