I’d deffo have that, unwritten rule even if it’s near a skip, it’s mine haha

I'm exactly the same..

But in the eyes of the Law..it's classed as theft by finding😂

If it was on the deck and a member of public was to fall over it...then you be liable ...got to watch the scruffy cnuts, there's folks that go out everyday looking to throw themselves over your materials/tools looking for a claim... shifting about on a couple of PIP Sticks on their way to the Toby carvery or weather spoons..we all know the type👍

Somebody somewhere is saying “I only put the pressure washer outside for a minute because I was going to wash the car, went for the washing up liquid and by the time I got back some c**t had nicked it

Consider yourself lucky they're asking and not just taking it. I'd find somewhere else to stack it.

To be fair, I wouldn’t have asked ! LOL ! Cheers.

Shiny full lengths of new timber  with a sticker  banding or a  barcode, perched neatly on top of the clear rubbis..only a f***ing Tard or chancer is going to ask you for it😂

Like when your having a new kitchen and your cooker, washing machine, tumble etc is outside the front door...and every scrap man in the valley drives past stops and  asks 🙄 personally I would sweep up all the sawdust and offcuts fill a bag and hand it to the cheeky old cnut😁👍

Working in a little terraced gaff atm up a side street with minimal parking spots so been having to stack any timber we have on the skip out the front and bring it in as we need it.must have had 20 people over the last couple of days ask"Are you throwing that away?canI have it? Oh yeah we're chucking a few hundred quids worth of brand new 6x2.Even had one sour face old bitch says well why leave it in such a stupid place?"like we were c**ts for net letting her help herself to it.

Thick as mince you, no wonder you can't get a trade, don't put it at angle where there's lots of strain on it. Warping FFS, there's no weight there for em to warp. Lol

Yup too much ££££ money for a rabbit hutch. How you going resolve the damp.

Not our problem mate.Weve priced to do the groundscrews and timber extension.Loft conversion and we've just agreed to drop the chimney and scrape back loose render as an extra. We lifted a drain lid on Friday to see where the drains run before we put the screws in and the 9" drains were half full.At first we thought they were blocked untill we dug a test hole and it started filling with water 500mm down.Trouble is thes old houses have had all the suspended wooden floors ripped up and filled with concrete.pointed with sand/cement and upvc double glazing so don't breathe like they would have done years ago.

I'd like to think that even if I weren't a builder and saw a load of brand new timber once I looked in the front door and saw the builders using it I'd realise it weren't rubbish. But maybe I've just got a bit more common sense than the divvy c**ts down here and the average thl member
