The risk of being pulled won't stop me from running the dog, that's a terrible attitude to have. Thanks for the advice mate, I'd have never thought of that. Lol Just trying to be helpful. Not saying you are one of these people, but look how many times people have said 'I never thought he'd/she'd do that.' 1 Quote Link to post

It's common sense mate, and he hasn't been nailing him over food, the pup takes liberties but will learn. He's a crazy little cnut because 5 mins after he's been nailed he's back at it, he's got some character, might tackle fox after all. 1 Quote Link to post

It doesn't matter if you're hare coursing, running rabbit, fox or deer, it could be the dogs last. If a couple of dog lads jacked it in then perhaps they aren't as keen as some of the true did hards? As far as I'm aware, the vast majority of the "names" are still at it. I don't proclaim to be a diehard but I'm certainly not going to be put off at the thought of the dog being confiscated or risking a big fine, do you think getting caught with a motor full of deer ten year back was just a telling off and be on your way? Lol Not as keen , come on mate your not that stupid. Get your self to fens then. Lol. See how long you last. Even around east Yorkshire now its on fire. Tell me this what you guna do when you have to tell your gaffer you've lost your license so cant make it in today. Thats if it happens which i hope it doesnt . ? But say it did. And your gaffer lays you off. Thats Job gone , mortgage, kids to feed. Even local if your caught then your going to court mate. Its easy money for them they dont give a f**k. Then ask yourself. Have you got a couple of grand knocking about to pay the fine. Would your miss be happy. You having motor taken away. This is reality now with hare coursing. 2 Quote Link to post

Again, what do you think the consequences were for getting caught with a motor full of deer? Do you think all lads hunting illegally have no jobs or ties? Lol Quote Link to post

I know a few keepers down Norfolk who have land and game you would have to see to believe. Quote Link to post

chartpolski 27,231
How many of us are aware of the two new laws that came into effect in 2022 concerning hunting hares ? Colloquially known as “ the going equipped laws”. This means if you are pulled in an area known for hare coursing or lamping, walking your dog on a lead or even if you are driving in your motor, and have a running dog, a slip lead, binoculars, a lamp, a thermal imager or anything that the police deem as “equipment for catching hares”, you’re nicked ! Ive been lucky, in almost 60 years I’ve been to court for poaching only twice and won one, lost one. Take care, use common sense. Cheers. Quote Link to post
